Created in 2025, the Laboratoire Euler is an Internal Research Unit (UPR), established through thematic alliances in mechanics and engineering. The Laboratoire Euler brings together all its expertise on a single site and fosters strong synergies among three teams united by a common objective: developing a seamless research continuum, from upstream research (TRL2) to industrial collaborative research (TRL6).
Building on extensive industrial partnership research activities, the Laboratoire Euler joined the Institut Carnot ARTS in 2025 and bases its upstream research on numerous institutional projects funded by the ANR, Europe, and the Île-de-France Region.
Research Themes
The research activities of the Laboratoire Euler are focused on three main themes:
- Tribology & Materials: analysis of material damage under superficial or volumetric strain.
- Vibrations, Acoustic, Structures & Mechanical Shapes: Vibration and acoustic analysis of mechanical systems and their constituent materials, with the aim of reducing vibration and noise. Study of the geometric properties of mechanical systems..
- Engineering of Mechatronic and Multi-physics Systems: methods and tools used in the design, modelling, simulation and optimisation of mechatronic, multi-physics and critical systems.
