ISAE‑Supméca is located in Saint-Ouen, very close to Paris. At the time of its creation, this area was a leading industrial centre in the vicinity of several factories including Alstom, EDF, Peugeot, Valeo and more.
ISAE‑Supméca engineers are recognised for their skills in mechanical and digital engineering, both in the design and modelling or simulation of complex mechanical and mechatronic systems. They possess equally sought-after skills related to materials and the management of production systems.
More than 30 clubs and associations take an active part in the campus life at ISAE‑Supméca. Furthermore ISAE‑Supméca is located very close to Paris, wich enables students to visit key cultural sites on their free time.
At ISAE‑Supméca, we take the greatest care in welcoming the students and teachers-researchers of our partners.
Since the creation of the CESTI in 1956 – which was founded on the basis of the ISMCM, a practical-training school dedicated to mechanical and materials engineering attached to the Polytechnic Institute, ISAE‑Supméca, which started using this name in 2003, has been consistently updating its training programmes in order to train the types of engineers the industrial world needs.
All research activities carried out at ISAE-Supméca have been integrated into the QUARTZ laboratory (EA 7393) since 2005. They focus on 4 main themes : Tribology & Materials, Static & Dynamic Study of Mechanical Systems, Vibroacoustics & Structure, Sustainable Systems, Engineering of Mechatronic and Multi-physical Systems.
